Taking a Screenshot in Windows XP

Locate the below key on your keyboard

This key takes a picture of your entire screen

Once you have pressed this key we now need to paste the captured picture into a graphics file

Go to the start menu in the bottom left hand side of your screen

Click on All programs then click on Accessories

Open paint.JPG

Open Microsoft Paint

Now to paste in the captured picture please press the below key combination

This will paste the picture into Microsoft Paint

Once this is pasted into Microsoft Paint you will now need to save the image

To do this please go to the File menu and press on the Save button

Please save this image to your desktop choosing a recognizable file name

Locate the below key on your keyboard

Or use the clip board image to paste in to the Microsoft Paint software

Once this is pasted into Microsoft Paint you will now need to save the image

To do this please go to the File menu and press on the Save button

Please save this image to your desktop choosing a recognizable file name

Locate the below key on your keyboard

Click on the "Down Arrow" at the bottom of the monitor

Now to paste in the captured picture please press the below key combination

Or use the clip board image to paste in to the Microsoft Paint software
