Edit My Proxy Server Settings

Last modified 10:48, 2 Nov 2012

Overview

Corporate environments commonly utilise a Proxy server to limit Internet traffic in and out of a workplace.

These proxy servers filter internet traffic such as web site requests to adhere to corporate IT policy.

As the Hubb software suite require an active internet connection for data, in environments that sit behind a proxy server it may be required to tell the Hubb Software how to access the Proxy server.

You will need to contact your local IT personnel for configuration details for your proxy server.

Symptoms

When behind a proxy server that is blocking access to the internet for local internet traffic the Hubb software will not be able to access the internet. This will result in loss of data and functionality. Most commonly you will receive an error message stating that the software cannot connect to the Hubb Servers.
