Display a Market Scan Result

The Market Scans Results Table gives an overview of all the symbols that meet the scan criteria.

From that table users can display the price charts of those results that they are interested in.

Click on the Charts icon icon_chartoff.gif at the beginning of each result row and the price chart for that symbol will open.

Walk Through Mode

When the price chart opens, it will be in the Walk Through mode with the black triangular Walk Through commencement marker at the point at which the scan criteria was triggered.

Use the Walk Through Controls displayed in the bottom left hand corner to step through the chart up to the current day.

For more information, go to the Walk Through Overview.

Hi-Lite or Indicator Display

If the scan criteria used a Hi-Lite or Indicator parameter, the price chart will have the indicator or Hi-Lite displayed and it will open the Walk Through mode at the point at which the indicator/Hi-Lite's criteria was triggered.

The Walk Through marker is placed at the trigger point.

The price chart and Indicators or Hi-Lites will be displayed in their default appearance. Users can change the appearance, add Drawing tools and save the price chart in the normal manner.

The Walk Through effect can be turned off by clicking the Walk Through icon butn_walkthru.gif on the price chart's function bar.
