Portfolio Manager Page Descriptions

Clicking Portfolio Manager in the Portfolio drop-down menu will always open with the Account View tabbed work page open:

The Account View shows all of accounts maintained in Your SOFTWARE.

Initially there will be a Sample account and Sample portfolio. You can add new accounts and/or rename the sample.

After creating new accounts and portfolios, they will all be displayed in the Account View table and their contents will be included in the pie charts in the lower section of the page..

Once the Portfolio information has been entered, the Portfolio Manager can be used to display and analyze these positions in a number of different ways.

There are four different views available, one of which has five tabbed pages:

Account View tabbed page

The Account View tabbed page is the default display whenever the Portfolio Manager is opened.

The account view is the entry point into the Portfolio Manager, as well as the central repository and viewpoint for all account and portfolios managed by Integrated Investor.

Accounts and Portfolio Table

The page is divided into two sections. The top section contains a table with all the Accounts and Portfolios listed.

Each Account can have one portfolio. Users can create a many Accounts as are required.

Click on an Account row (grey-blue in color) to open the Account Details view.

Click on a Portfolio row (white in color) to open the Portfolio Details view.

Pie Charts

The bottom section contains two pie charts. The Portfolio chart on the left shows the relative value of each portfolio. The Symbols chart on the right shows the relative size of holding for each symbol, i.e. the value of each type of stock, futures, warrants, options, etc.

Each pie chart has a color coded legend below it.

Quote List View tabbed page

Click on the Quote List View tab of the opening screen to view the accounts and portfolios in the Quote Page format.

All of the accounts are displayed in the common Quote Page format.

Each account is a Quote Page Group containing all the symbols. Groups can be expanded or contracted.

When expanded, the customizable display table shows recent market data for each symbol. The market data can be refreshed using the Data-on-Demand refresh button butn_go-off.gif located in the function bar.

The various icons that can be included in the table allow easy access to each symbol's chart, price data, option chain, fundamental data, etc.

Portfolio Details work page

From the Account View, double left-mouse click on a portfolio row (initially white background, blue gray when selected) to open the Portfolio Details work page.

The Portfolio Details work page has five tabbed worksheets:

Each tabbed worksheet shares a similar Action menu, see below right, that enables the symbol, positions, trades and transactions to be analyzed or adjusted as need be.

Trades

By default, the Portfolio Details work page opens with the Trades tabbed worksheet displayed.

All trades, whether open or closed, are displayed. Each trade is assigned a unique number.

One of more trades can be made for the same symbol and each trade can have any number or kinds of transactions associated with it. For example, it is possible to assign a trade closing a position, to an existing trade.

Each trade's details are summarized in the blue row.

A trade can be expanded to view the details for each individual transaction, details of those transactions will be displayed in the table for that trade.

The information displayed in the table can be changed by creating and applying a custom view.

Positions

The Positions tabbed page has a table consisting of all shares or instruments, grouped into symbols.

Each group has a summary line in which the current balance (Quantity) is displayed along with trading information such as current price, current value, % profit/loss, etc.

Each group can be expanded to show the individual Trades and other transactions that affect the number of shares held such as Dividend Reinvestments, Stock Splits, etc. Information relating to each of these transactions is displayed in each row.

The information displayed in the table can be changed by creating and applying a custom view.

Transactions

The Transactions tabbed page has a table consisting of all transactions of whatever type that have affected the portfolio.

It is a list of transactions in a sortable table. By default it is sorted chronologically by date.

To sort by another criteria, select a column heading in the table. Clicking on the heading will toggle between an ascending and descending sort based on the heading's criteria.

The display of the sortable headings can be changed using the custom view tool in the Action menu.

Orders

The Orders tabbed page has a table, similar to the Transactions table, consisting of all orders for shares or instruments that are currently open in the market and have yet to be filled.

The market data can be refreshed using the Data-on-Demand refresh button butn_go-off.gif located in the function bar, this will allow you to monitor the market prior to executing the trade.

Once the trade has been executed, use the Fill Order tool in the Action menu to add the trades to the Portfolio.

Greeks

The Greeks tabbed page has a table consisting of all the Greeks values currently applicable to the option transactions.

For each option strategy leg, the table displays details of the transaction (contract type [Sell(Entry), Buy(Exit), Sell(Exit) or Buy(Entry)], the option symbol, and text description), market data (last price, market value and volatility), and the Greeks for each option: Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega and Rho.

Account Details work page

From the Account View, double left-mouse click on an Accounts row (initially a light blue background, then light blue gray when selected) to open the Account Details work page.

The Account Details work page displays all transactions that have a monetary effect on the account.

The default display is in chronological order based on the Date. This allows the Cash Balance to be calculated and displayed in a meaningful manner.

The table can be sorted using the column headings. This is useful for finding particular transactions in the table.
