Creating and Applying Default Template to All Charts

Overview

This guide shows how to configure Your SOFTWARE to use the same Chart Template on all Price Charts viewed in Your SOFTWARE:

Creating a Template

The first step in creating a template should be to select which Indicators/Hi-lites you would like to have applied to your charts. To start this process a New Price Chart would be opened from the top icon bar of Your SOFTWARE

Select the Charts icon.

Select the New Price Chart option.

Once the New Price Chart has opened, apply any Hi-Lites and Indicators that are to be used in the Template and configure the Settings that these tools are to use.

Once the Price Chart has been setup to the layout that is wanted, the Template will need to be saved to Your SOFTWARE.

select the Action button.

Select Save As template.

Give the Template File a name in the File Name section

Always use Default Template

Once the Default Template has been created you may select to have them applied to all charts.

Click on the File located in the top menu of Your SOFTWARE:

Click on Settings menu option from the drop down list.

Click on the General tab

Check Always Use Default Template under the General Settings group.

Click on the Ok button to confirm the changes.

Note - You may need to close and open Your SOFTWARE for the changes to take effect.

Selecting the Template to be used on all Price Charts

We may now choose the template which we want to use.

Click on the Charts icon

Select the New Price Chart option.

Select the Template to be used by selecting the drop down box under the Template heading

Once the Template has been selected, tick the Save As Default option.

You may now simply enter any symbol to open the Price Chart with the Template applied
