Redistribute Download Files

Overview

This guide explains how to redistribute your downloaded data packs into Your SOFTWARE. 

This may occasionally be required if there are gaps within your daily price data.

Redistributing Downloaded Files

Within Your SOFTWARE, click on the Tools menu item located at the top menus.

Then click on the Maintenance menu item from the drop down list. Then click on the Distribute Downloaded Files option from the sub menu list.

This will launch the DISTRIBUTE DOWNLOADED FILES DIALOG BOX.

Select the target folder where the downloaded files are saved under the Folder group. Select the file type under the Files of Type group. Select the files under File(s) group. Then click the Distribute button.

Note: It is better to leave the default target Folder and Files of Type. Unless you have configured the Your SOFTWARE differently, you can search for the downloaded files by changing the location under the Folder group.

Note: You can select multiple files under Files(s) group. There are three ways to select multiple files. You can use any of the instructions below:

  1. Left-click on the first target file. While holding the left-mouse button down, drag your mouse either up or down towards your last target file.
  2. Left-click on the first target file. Press and hold down SHIFT key on your keyboard. Left-click again on your last target file.
  3. Left-click on the first target file. Press and hold down CTRL key on your keyboard. Left-click any other target files.
